Prayer for Samantha

Precious child,

You’ve had a busy day

Walking your puppy

Playing with friends at the park

Telling stories to your dolls

And singing songs as you dance.

You’ve spread a lot of joy

In the world today

And now it’s time for rest.

So relax, close your eyes,

Let sleep take you to faraway places

You haven’t yet seen

Knowing that in the morning

Those dreams will again play

In your imagination

As you tell new stories

Sing more songs

And share your special love.
